Short Biography

Michael Menicucci is the founder and managing partner of Menicucci, one of New York’s leading law firms, specializing in banking, finance, and real estate development. A member of the New York State Bar for over 28 years, Michael launched his practice in 1988 after working with federal and New York City elected officials.

Today, Michael is considered one of the New York region’s foremost authorities on the legal aspects of banking and finance. His expertise spans federal regulatory compliance issues, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and commercial litigation.

While serving with Congressman Guy V. Molinari, Michael played a pivotal role in assisting with environmental law matters at both the national and local levels. He later worked with Borough President Ralph J. Lamberti, where he helped with initiatives involving all city agencies to develop Staten Island’s Special Zoning Districts.

In addition to his extensive legal practice, Michael has lectured with State Senator Diane Savino on efforts related to the home foreclosure crisis, helping homeowners negotiate workout agreements. Furthermore, he has collaborated with Senator Andrew Lanza, offering consulting services to homeowners in their mortgage modification efforts.
